Are you a photographer wanting to share your work with others to gain constructive feedback and helpful suggestions? Perhaps you are working on a book or exhibition and looking for some input from other experienced photographers? Perhaps you are wondering how to work towards an exhibition or maybe you just want to share an idea or some recent shots for feedback. If so this peer to peer appraisal will be cost effective and introduce you to new voices.

Safe Space is run through Zoom by photographer, curator and exhibitor Nigel Walker (profile here), Safe Space offers an opportunity for up to six photographers to join each other online and work together for two hours. Each person receives their own time after introductions to present their work, describe challenges and receive comments from others in that group. Nigel will chair the group, keep timing and reflect on the session as it progresses. Respect for each other and constructive feedback is paramount. You are also expected to be present for the full two hours.

Each Safe Space session costs £20 but you can join for your first session at just £10 and you can join once or as many times as you wish. The sessions are online weekly at present and spread across different times to give some flexibility You can find the date of the next sessions below and book a space by emailing nigelwalkerphoto@gmail.com. New dates are added monthly.

Tues 3rd March 2026 from 18.00 until 20.00

Weds 11th March 2026 from 15.00 until 17.00

Sat 21st March 2026 from 11.00 until 13.00

Fri 27th March 2026 from 19.00 until 21.00
